Get to Know Us
A teacher, a nurse, and a doctor walk into a bar...
and decide that Nakusp needs its own brewery.
Though it may sound like a joke, we mean business. As passionate craft beer drinkers and brewers, we saw a need for craft beer in Nakusp, as well as a welcoming, cozy, gathering place.

We built this brewery from the ground up and poured sweat, tears (and a few beers) into creating a welcoming space for both locals and travellers to feel at home.

Just Beer
Style: Kolsch | ABV: 5.0% | IBU: 15
Sometimes simple is best. Just Beer is a clean, crip Kolsch brewed for those who appreciate a straightforward, easy-drinking beer.
Czech Your Temp
Style: Czech Pilsner | ABV: 4.8% | IBU: 16
Simple, clean, and crisp! Brewed with premium malt, soft water, and classic Saaz hops, this traditional Czech-style Pilsner delivers brilliant clarity, delicate floral spice, and a refreshing finish. Cold-conditioned because a great pilsner can't be rushed.
Hop Springs IPA
Style: West Coast IPA | ABV: 5.6% | IBU: 50
A classic West Coast IPA crafted with hop lovers in mind. Showcasing bright citrus, floral hop aromas, and subtle pine. This crips and refreshing IPA delivers balanced bitterness and a clean, dry finish.
Abriel Amber
Style: Amber Ale | ABV: 5.5% | IBU: 27
Inspired by the trails of Mt. Abriel, this smooth Amber Ale is the ideal beer to toast a good ride. Rich in colour, with notes of caramel, toasted malt, and gentle sweetness. Easy-drinking and thirst quenching.​​
Reign Check
Style: ESB | ABV: 4.9% | IBU: 15
The forecast called for sunshine, but in true British fashion, the clouds had other plans. Reign Check is our nod to the classic Extra Special Bitter, brewed a touch lighter with an easy-drinking pale ale character. Gentle caramel sweetness meets freshly baked biscuit malt, finishing crisp enough to keep you coming back - rain or shine.
The Nitro Espress
Style: Stout| ABV: 5.2% | IBU: 35.5
A rich and robust stout with full flavour, poured on a nitro blend tap. Notes of dark chocolate and espresso combine with a subtle smoky finish. Velvety and smooth.
Western Weizen
Style: Kristall-Weizen| ABV: 5.9% | IBU: 13
A Canadian take on a German classic. Brilliantly bright with bready wheat character and subtle notes of honey and soft malt. Delicate herbal spice of traditional noble hops. This is where Old World tradition meets the spirit of the West.

Do you offer food?
We offer small snacks and bites. If you're looking for more, CT's taco truck is open Wed-Sun next door! And feel free to bring in food from one of our other local restaurants...or last night's leftovers.
Are dogs allowed?
We welcome all well-behaved pooches to our patio and side yard. No pups inside please.
Do you have drinks for non-beer drinkers?
Yes! We serve wine, cider, and also have a selection of non alcoholic beverages including Nonny beers.
Do you take reservations?
First come, first served. No reservations.
Do you offer gluten-free beer?
Yes! We are excited to offer Grey Fox Brewing gluten-free beer on tap as well as Shuswap Cider by the can.

Are kids allowed?
Yes, bring the whole crew. We're stocked with goldfish crackers and juice boxes to keep em' happy.
