Get to Know Us
A teacher, a nurse, and a doctor walk into a bar...
and decide that Nakusp needs its own brewery.
Though it may sound like a joke, we mean business. As passionate craft beer drinkers and brewers, we saw a need for craft beer in Nakusp, as well as a welcoming, cozy, gathering place.
We built this brewery from the ground up and poured sweat, tears (and a few beers) into creating a welcoming space for both locals and travellers to feel at home.

Just Beer
Style: Kolsch | ABV: 5.0% | IBU: 15
Sometimes simple is best. Just Beer is a clean, crisp Kolsch brewed for those who appreciate a straightforward, easy-drinking beer.
Wunderlager
Style: Oktoberfest-Style Lager | ABV: 5.5% | IBU: 25
This golden hued Festbier features subtle notes of honey sweetness intertwined with malt. Smooth and easy drinking, there's no overwhelming bitterness or hops here, instead the taste is rounded and comforting. A crisp and clean finish beckons for another sip.

Hop Springs IPA
Style: West Coast IPA | ABV: 5.6% | IBU: 50
A classic West Coast IPA crafted with hop lovers in mind. Showcasing bright citrus, floral hop aromas, and subtle pine. This crips and refreshing IPA delivers balanced bitterness and a clean, dry finish.
Abriel Amber
Style: Amber Ale | ABV: 5.5% | IBU: 27
Inspired by the trails of Mt. Abriel, this smooth Amber Ale is the ideal beer to toast a good ride. Rich in colour, with notes of caramel, toasted malt, and gentle sweetness. Easy-drinking and thirst quenching.
Paddy's Gold
Style: Dry Irish Stout | ABV: 4.35% | IBU: 33
A classic Irish stout brings deep roasted malt and robust dark flavours together in a smooth pint. A generous helping of flaked barley gives it that unmistakable rich, velvety body before finishing crisp, dry, and dangerously drinkable. You'll feel lucky to be sipping on this one!
The Nitro Espress
Style: Stout| ABV: 5.2% | IBU: 35.5
A rich and robust stout with full flavour, poured on a nitro blend tap. Notes of dark chocolate and espresso combine with a subtle smoky finish. Velvety and smooth.
Brewer's Mark
Style: Citra IPA | ABV: 5.6% | IBU: 45
Bursting with citrus and tropical fruit aromas from generous Citra hopping, balanced by moderate bitterness and a smooth, satisfying finish. A gentle IPA that converts even the biggest skeptics.
Lights Out
Style: Dark Pale Ale | ABV: 5.7% | IBU: 37
Don't let the darkness fool you. Lights Out pours deep and mysterious, but drinks like a crips, easy-going pale ale. Bright and refreshing with a touch of Munich malt nuttiness.

Do you offer food?
We offer small snacks and bites. If you're looking for more, feel free to bring in food from one of our other local restaurants...or last night's leftovers.
Are dogs allowed?
We welcome all well-behaved pooches to our patio and side yard. No pups inside please.
Do you have drinks for non-beer drinkers?
Yes! We serve wine, cider, and also have a selection of non alcoholic beverages including Nonny beers and craft sodas.
Do you take reservations?
First come, first served. No reservations.
Do you offer gluten-free beer?
Yes! We are excited to offer Grey Fox Brewing gluten-free beer on tap as well as Shuswap Cider on tap and by the can.
Are kids allowed?
Yes, bring the whole crew. We're stocked with goldfish crackers and juice boxes to keep em' happy.
